1. Definitions
"Company" means S-Mae Services, operated by Robert, based in Warboys, Huntingdonshire. "Customer" means the individual or entity entering into an agreement with the Company. "Services" means car detailing, driveway cleaning, and any associated services. "Booking" means a confirmed appointment for the provision of Services.
2. Agreement
2.1 These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the Company and the Customer.
2.2 By making a booking — whether online, by telephone, by email, or in person — the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.
2.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its sole discretion. In the event of cancellation by the Company, any deposit paid will be refunded in full.
3. Quotations & Pricing
3.1 All prices quoted are based on information provided by the Customer at the time of booking. The Company reserves the right to adjust the price if the condition of the vehicle or property differs materially from that described.
3.2 Price adjustments will be communicated before work commences, and the Customer may accept or decline the revised quotation.
3.3 All prices are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 The Company accepts payment by cash or bank transfer only.
4.2 For all bookings exceeding £50, a deposit of 50% of the total quoted price is required to confirm the appointment.
4.3 The deposit must be received before the booking is confirmed. The Company reserves the right to release the booking slot if the deposit is not received within the agreed timeframe.
4.4 The remaining balance is due in full upon satisfactory completion of the Services.
4.5 Failure to make payment may result in the Company pursuing recovery through appropriate legal channels. Any costs incurred may be passed to the Customer.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
5.1 Cancellations must be made by telephone or email. Cancellation is effective from the time it is received and acknowledged by the Company.

5.2 For bookings under £50, no cancellation fee applies provided reasonable notice is given.
5.3 The Company may reschedule due to adverse weather, equipment failure, or circumstances beyond its control. No cancellation fee will apply in such cases.
6. Pre-Service Inspection
6.1 Prior to commencing Services, the Company will conduct a pre-service inspection of the vehicle or property in the presence of the Customer wherever practicable.
6.2 This inspection identifies pre-existing damage, scratches, chips, stains, or defects. Both parties will acknowledge the findings.
6.3 Photographic evidence will be taken before and after every job as standard.
6.4 The Company accepts no liability for pre-existing damage identified at inspection or damage present before Services commenced.
6.5 Customers are strongly encouraged to disclose any known damage before work begins.
7. Liability
7.1 The Company will exercise all reasonable skill and care in providing its Services.
7.2 Any claim for damage caused directly by the Company's work must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of the service being completed. Claims submitted after this period may not be considered.
7.3 The Company's total liability shall not exceed the total price paid for the relevant booking.
7.4 The Company shall not be liable for pre-existing damage, damage arising from the Customer's failure to disclose known defects, or any indirect or consequential loss.
7.5 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
8. Quality & Complaints
8.1 If dissatisfied with the Services, the Customer must within 24 hours of completion: (a) contact the Company at hello@s-maeservices.com or by telephone; (b) provide a written description of the specific concerns; and (c) provide photographic evidence of the areas in question.
8.2 The Company will arrange to visit and rectify any areas not meeting the agreed standard at no additional cost.
8.3 Refund or compensation requests will be declined where: the Customer has not notified the Company within 24 hours; a third party has been instructed to carry out remedial work without the Company's prior written consent; or the Customer has attempted to resolve the issue themselves without the Company's knowledge and acknowledgement.
9. Customer Responsibilities
9.1 The Customer must ensure: adequate and safe access at the agreed location; water and electricity supply where required (confirmed at booking); and that all personal belongings and valuables are removed from the vehicle before work begins. The Company accepts no responsibility for loss of items left in the vehicle.
9.2 The Customer confirms they are the legal owner of the vehicle or property, or have authority to authorise the Services.
10. Mobile Service
S-Mae Services operates as a fully mobile service, travelling to the Customer's location within its service area (Warboys, Huntingdonshire and surrounding areas). The Customer is responsible for ensuring the location is suitable and safe for the Services to be carried out.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

S-Mae Services is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. Data We Collect
When you use our website or contact us, we may collect: full name, email address, telephone number, vehicle make and model, service details, and any additional information you provide.
3. How We Collect Your Data
Data is collected through: the contact and booking form on our website (via Web3Forms); the email sign-up form; and direct email, telephone, or in-person contact.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to: respond to your enquiry or booking; provide the requested services; send a one-off 15% discount code where applicable; send one follow-up email with car care tips; and maintain service records for quality and liability purposes. We will never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Retention Period
Enquiry and contact data is retained for 2 years from the date of last contact, or for the duration of an ongoing customer relationship. Email sign-up data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. After the retention period, data is securely and permanently deleted.
6. Third-Party Services
Your data may pass through: Web3Forms (form processing); Google Analytics (anonymous usage stats — no personal data transmitted); and Cloudflare (email routing and hosting). No other third parties receive your data without your explicit consent.
7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data; request correction; request deletion ("right to be forgotten"); restrict processing; receive your data in a portable format; and object to processing. 8. Cookies
Our website does not use tracking or marketing cookies. Google Analytics collects only anonymous, aggregated usage data. If this changes, this policy will be updated and a cookie consent banner added.
9. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data. All form submissions are encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS protocols.
